Salon Collection Brushes

Every time I went into Walgreens I would see these brushes and I always wanted to try them, but I wasn't going to spend a ton of money on brushes from Walgreens because you never know what quality they are. Well a few weeks ago I went in and took a look at their clearance section and what do i see? Yup its the salon collection brushes! I asked why they're so cheap now and it's because Walgreens is no longer going to carry the collection. It sucks that they wont be carrying them any longer because they're really good brushes. Check your local Walgreens to see if they still have any in stock. They no longer sell them at Walgreens.com

These brushes were designed exclusively for Walgreens by Japonesque

Pro's: They're pretty soft, they look expensive, they pick up the perfect amount of product, and they blend beautifully.

Con's: They do shed, but not excessively, about the same as my MAC brushes.

SWATCHES, HAUL & REVIEW: LADY GAGA & CYNDI LAUPER VIVA GLAM LIPSTICKS

HEY EVERYONE!
When I first saw this collection, it was the GAGA lipstick that caught my eye. I've been searching for my perfect light bubblegum pink lipstick and I had finally found it. And the fact that it was Lady Gaga's lipstick was a bonus. But I wasn't really sure about the Cyndi lipstick. Sure, it looked pretty in the picture, but I was afraid it would be to dark for me and I sure the hell didn't want to look like a clown : ) Well I bought it anyways, along with Gaga. I figured if it didn't look good on me it would on a client. Plus, they're limited edition and i didn't want to risk not being able to buy them later. After I had already purchased them online (because I thought the GAGA LS was sold out everywhere) I started to regret buying the cyndi LS bcuz I kept thinking what if it has horrible color pay off?? So I went to my Mac Pro store to try it on and I loved it : ) It isn't too bright at all, its actually a sheer red. YaY!! No Clown lips!! These are now my new favorite lipsticks.

As with all VIVA GLAM products, every cent raised through the purchase of these lipsticks goes to the M·A·C AIDS Fund to support the fight against HIV/AIDS.
